The Fund Readiness System

Is your room
ready for an
institutional
LP?

Blueprint builds your institutional data room, reads your materials for the problems your LPs will find, and tells you exactly what a real allocator will probe. You arrive ready.

The problem Blueprint solves

Institutional LPs see things most GPs do not know to prepare for.

Institutional LPs read your pitch deck against your LPA, compare your stated check size to your portfolio construction model, score your DDQ response, and expect it returned within five days. Most first-time GPs do not know any of this until they are already in the room. The managers who get funded are the ones who are best prepared, not always the ones who would perform best. Blueprint gives you the roadmap to arrive as that manager.

Five modules, in a deliberate order

Judgment leads. Document generation is the last step.

Blueprint is organized so you understand the room before you build it. The Evaluator Lens comes first because knowing what your target LP needs to see determines everything you produce.

01 · Evaluator Lens
What your target LP is actually looking for
Select your LP archetype and Blueprint adapts the guidance. Financial institutional LPs care about fund mathematics and attribution proof. Impact foundations care about additionality and theory of change specificity. DFIs care about ESG as infrastructure. Blueprint tells you which of these are your gaps before you walk into the room.
02 · Consistency Audit
The problems your LP will find before you do
Upload your pitch deck, your draft LPA, and your key terms sheet. Blueprint reads them through an AI analysis layer and flags cross-document inconsistencies: a fund size mentioned differently on two slides, a check size that does not map to your construction model, an ESG policy referenced in the deck that has not been written yet.
03 · Firm Narrative
Your story, excavated and translated
Blueprint asks you the questions a good IR consultant would ask. What is your founding insight? What is your unfair advantage? What does your track record actually show? Blueprint structures your answers into a ghostwritten synthesis and a track record translation using ILPA Performance Template methodology.
04 · Data Room
74 documents across 14 institutional folders
Blueprint uses your uploaded materials to pre-populate the documents institutional LPs expect, including the full ILPA DDQ 2.0 with all 20 sections and 8 appendices. You review and edit each document. Blueprint exports them as Word or PDF files ready to share. Legal documents never generate automatically and always route to your counsel.
05 · LP Intelligence
Research on each LP before you meet them, and drafted answers during diligence
Add a target LP and Blueprint generates a research brief using live web search: what they have funded, how they make decisions, their typical check size and timeline, and what they are likely to probe. When you receive a diligence questionnaire, upload it and Blueprint drafts institution-calibrated answers drawn from your data room content. You review and refine each answer before sending.

Readiness is a fuel gauge, not a grade

Blueprint shows you how assembled your room is, and what to do next.

Blueprint does not score you or benchmark you against other managers. It measures how ready your room is for the LP you are trying to meet. Every open item has a specific action attached to it. Resolving that action advances the gauge. When the gauge is full, the room is assembled.

Blueprint tracks five things: ILPA component coverage, data room document completeness, DDQ questions answered, open findings resolved, and operational due diligence items in place. As you work through the platform, each of these moves. The gauge rises. The LP knows the difference between a room assembled this way and a folder of PDFs.

How it works

Three steps from intake to ready.

Blueprint is structured so you can start immediately with what you have, then build toward a complete room over time.

01
Complete the intake
Tell Blueprint about your fund, your strategy, and your target LP types. Upload your pitch deck and any materials you have. Blueprint reads them and produces your initial readiness snapshot.
02
Work through the platform
The Evaluator Lens shows you your gaps by LP archetype. The Firm Narrative module captures your story and your track record. The Data Room module builds your materials and completes your DDQ.
03
Arrive ready
Export your data room. Add your LP targets and receive research briefs. Handle diligence questionnaires inside Blueprint. Graduate into Colibrí Architecture when your first close is done.
The Colibrí lifecycle

You raise with Blueprint and run with Architecture.

Blueprint is the first product in a two-product lifecycle. When your fund is deployed and capital is at work, you graduate into Colibrí Architecture, our portfolio management and LP reporting platform. The graduation handoff carries your fund record, your LP base, your assembled materials, and your ILPA reporting templates into Architecture without re-entering data.

Pre-deployment

Deployed
Colibrí Architecture
The VC operating system for managing a live portfolio and reporting to LPs.

Important boundaries

What Blueprint does not do.

These are not limitations. They establish the right relationship between a software platform and the professionals you need alongside it.

Blueprint does not generate legal documents.
Your LPA, your subscription agreement, and your domicile and jurisdiction questions stay with your fund formation counsel. Blueprint tracks whether those documents exist, benchmarks your drafts against the ILPA model language, and routes every legal question to your lawyers.
Blueprint does not replace a placement agent.
It builds the materials and the intelligence you need to have productive conversations with LPs. The relationship is still your work.
Blueprint does not give investment advice.
The Evaluator Lens shows you what your target LP archetype looks for and where your room has gaps. It does not tell you whether to raise a fund.
Blueprint does not produce a readiness score.
Readiness is a completeness measure. You are never benchmarked against other managers.
