Data Room and DDQ
Bios establish who is on the team. This section of the DDQ establishes what each person actually spends their time on, what they are compensated on, and whether any of that creates a conflict the rest of the room needs to know about.
The team section goes beyond credentials to explain roles, time commitments, outside activities and compensation. Check the factual account against relevant filings and current agreements. Succession and key-person provisions have their own guide; this page focuses on how the team operates day to day.

An allocator reading this section wants a real percentage, not a general assurance of commitment: how much of each investment professional's working time goes to this fund specifically, and what else occupies the remainder. A partner who also advises a separate company, sits on an unrelated board, or manages personal angel investments needs that disclosed here, plainly, rather than surfaced later as something the GP did not think to mention.
A shorter biography and a regulatory filing serve different purposes. Compare the relevant facts, such as role, dates, ownership or outside activities, and resolve actual discrepancies. Use current source records and label dates so an older filing is not mistaken for a current team description.
Different wording is not itself a governance problem. An unexplained difference in a material fact is worth resolving.
