Blueprint Intelligence / Data Room and DDQ / What documents do you need to answer an LP DDQ?
Data Room and DDQ
Use the current deck, model, track record, governing documents, policies, provider records and reporting materials as one evidence set.
A strong DDQ answer is specific, current and traceable to the supplied fund evidence. It should answer the question asked without turning a target, intention or draft policy into an established fact.
Use the current deck, model, track record, governing documents, policies, provider records and reporting materials as one evidence set.
Use a compact evidence set that lets the reader test the answer instead of relying on the assertion alone.
Answering from memory makes it easy to repeat an old figure or describe a control that has not been implemented.
Label supported facts, partial evidence and missing information separately. Precision is more credible than unsupported completeness.
Create a source map that names the supporting file for each material answer.
Record the source, responsible owner and effective date for every material statement. Recheck it whenever the underlying evidence changes.
