Blueprint Intelligence / Data Room and DDQ / How to answer narrative questions in an LP DDQ
Data Room and DDQ
Lead with the direct answer, explain the operating mechanism and finish with evidence or an explicitly labeled limitation.
A strong DDQ answer is specific, current and traceable to the supplied fund evidence. It should answer the question asked without turning a target, intention or draft policy into an established fact.
Lead with the direct answer, explain the operating mechanism and finish with evidence or an explicitly labeled limitation.
Use a compact evidence set that lets the reader test the answer instead of relying on the assertion alone.
Long background sections can avoid the question while sounding complete.
Label supported facts, partial evidence and missing information separately. Precision is more credible than unsupported completeness.
Draft the first sentence as if the LP will read only that sentence.
Record the source, responsible owner and effective date for every material statement. Recheck it whenever the underlying evidence changes.
